Ocean Charter Club, against the pollution of the Oceans

Ocean Charter Club unites, in defense of the conservation of seas and oceans, against plastic pollution, following action protocols, aimed at avoiding the high level of pollution that invades the world’s seas and oceans.

With this objective, Ocean Charter Club tries to contribute a grain of sand, starting by raising awareness among its own clients with a diptych, which it delivers to each of them, once on board, in which he explains graphically and clearly and concisely. , the effects that various materials such as plastic, compresses, butts and batteries, among others, cause in the world, as well as the time it takes for all these materials to decompose. Some never do.

This initiative tries to reach the largest possible number of citizens, the message of PLASTIC POLLUTION COALITION with a strong slogan; “OPEN YOUR EYES

Plastic Pollution Coalition is a growing global alliance of more than 750 organizations, companies and opinion leaders in 60 countries working for a world free of plastic pollution and its toxic impact on humans, animals, waterways, the ocean and the environment.

Plastic pollution is a problem of environmental and social justice. Plastic is a product of petroleum that, in order to reduce as far as possible the effects caused by fossil fuels, we must reduce our collective plastic footprint.

For its part, Ocean Charter Club relies on this great coalition to reinforce, through its numerous programs, supports, resources and initiatives, the dissemination of its messages, trying to reach beyond the scope of its own clients, such as schools, universities, the media, opinion leaders, hotel establishments, etc.

Even if you think that the geographical scope of your individual action is extremely limited and therefore insignificant, YOU ARE WRONG!! Your action is in addition to millions of other small actions around the world that are achieving, step by step, changing mentalities, habits and customs towards a better world.

Dependence on disposable packaging is ruining our planet“.

By 2050, the oceans will contain more plastic than the number of fish that inhabit it“.

We want to change mentalities, habits and customs towards a better world“.

The primary objective of the Plastic Pollution Coalition is based on 4 fundamental pillars:

TAKE ACTION, INDIVIDUAL OR COLLECTIVE

REJECT plastic whenever possible. Choosing items that are not wrapped in plastic and bringing your own bags, containers and utensils. Say “no plastic, please”.

REUSE straws, utensils, containers to take away; Bottles, bags and other everyday non-toxic and durable items. Choose glass, paper, stainless steel, wood, ceramic, and bamboo. NOTHING PLASTIC

REDUCE your plastic footprint with a lower consumption of products that contain an excessive level of plastic and plastic elements. Plastic garbage, don’t buy it.

RECYCLE what you cannot reject, reduce its consumption and reuse it. Pay attention to the complete life cycle of plastic items, from origin to manufacturing, distribution and disposal.
